Dr. Kasia Iwan is a physician specializing in interventional spine and orthobiologic medicine who is double board certified in Pain Medicine and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She received her medical degree from the Jagiellonian University Medical College and went on to complete both a PM&R residency and a Pain Medicine fellowship at the University of Rochester Medical Center in upstate NY. Dr. Iwan specializes in minimally invasive treatments for acute and chronic pain, focusing on regenerative treatments for the spine. She has developed a passion for regenerative medicine due to the ability to heal and slow progression of degeneration, restore function, and overall give patients the opportunity to live a full, active, and meaningful life. Dr. Iwan is involved in several organizations such as the Spine Interventional Society, Interventional Orthobiologics Foundation, North American Neuromodulation Society and American Academy of Pain Medicine.

Outside Interests
Dr. Iwan was born in Poland and immigrated to Canada as a child. She completed her medical training in upstate New York, where she met her husband and had a daughter. She moved to the Pacific Northwest because it felt like more like home. She enjoys traveling, cooking, photography, and spending time with her family, preferably on a beach along the beautiful Oregon coast.
